Amatista begins from the friendship of two entrepreneurs and partners seeking to bring South America closer to the United Kingdom.
This idea starts when Andrea emigrates to London from Montevideo. She arrives with the dream of being able to continue what she started in Uruguay with Jimena, bringing the experience of being partners in two bookstores.
After long conversations from one side of the hemisphere to the other, adding the wish to bring Latin American art and talent closer to London (one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world) Amatista Books & Lifestyle was born.
Amatista, in addition to offering a wide catalogue of books in Spanish with a strong focus on wellness and lifestyle, wants to give visibility to ideas and products from Uruguay and Latin America.
